supporting families

The Gender Dysphoria Support Network (GDSN) is an international group that aims to offer support to families of individuals affected by gender dysphoria. This support network recognises the difficulties presenting the person with gender dysphoria and also recognises that friends and families can be in need of emotional understanding and support.

The GDSN offers emotional support meetings to relatives and friends so that they can share their experiences in order to resolve common challenges. The main purpose of the GDSN is to help families that have been impacted by gender dysphoria. We do this by meeting regularly and by providing understanding and encouragement to our members. We meet in small groups (five to ten members) so that everyone has a chance to speak.

The GDSN is not allied with any religion, sect, denomination, political entity, organisation or institution.
