“ Thanks to GDSN for providing balanced & open support despite an environment so filled with affirmative action and hidden agenda.
GDSN has given us a space where we can share our stories and express our most deep concerns & worries with other parents who are going through a similar experience, knowing we will be heard and understood without undue judgement. Having this group is a massive moral support, but the help doesn't stop there.
We have the opportunity to access top therapeutic support from someone who is so committed - Stella O'Malley - to find answers to this phenomenon and provide parents with the support we most desperately require. You keep us updated with relevant information that helps us learn and understand this distressing experience we are all going through with our daughters and sons.
If we hadn't found this group, we may never have found the confidence to act and fight for what we believe is the right thing to do, to protect our daughter from something as dangerous and misguided as gender ideology.
Thank you to GDSN for all you do and to every mum and every dad that is sharing their experience with the rest of us.

“It's been an enormous comfort for me to be able to share my grief with other parents, where we understand each others' sharp distress around our children's choices - choices I didn't even know were out there a year ago. A sympathetic therapist in a kind of "shepherding" role in my group makes me feel safer in one of the hardest times of my life (it feels similar to when my father died) and gives me the extra perspective I need to hold my little family together for the long run."

“These meetings have rapidly become a highlight of my week and I’ve found them full of useful information. Simply the chance to share and talk with a group of people who feel exactly like I do is such a relief. The facilitator is wonderful and I value the insights offered at these meetings so much.”

“GDSN has been a lifesaver. Prior to joining the group, I didn't know anyone that I could talk with that truly understood my situation.
Because of GDSN, I am able to be a source of strength for my son who is struggling with gender dysphoria and my entire family who is trying to learn how best to support him.
I knew that the Gender Affirmative Model was flawed yet I wasn't aware of any alternatives.
GDSN has been a great resource and I am hopeful that, within time, more treatment options will become available.”

“Having Stella on board has helped me to cope with my daughter's decision and my reaction to it.
I feel less isolated being part of GDSN.
I would like to see more fathers join us.”

“The session last week was so helpful .... it is undeniably reassuring to know that we are united in our concerns when there feels such strong pressure from a range of sources.”

“I felt so alone before finding this group.
It has been such a struggle because never in a million years would I have guessed that my daughter would identify as anything other than a girl. It came as a complete shock.
I did not even realize that this was going on with so many girls.
When we first visited a psychologist, I was not prepared for their response at all either. It has been very jarring.
It helps immensely to know that others are going through the same thing with similar views to mine. This group is a great source of support.
